Is there anyone who has had great experience with a Tortoise Vet in Sacramento or outlying areas? I just want to make sure I have a good vet on hand and I need to have my 70 pound Sulcata checked out and make sure he doesn't have Bacterial Infections from damages to his Plastron. He has a silver dollar sized wound from a dog scraping him. Been cleaning it with iodine solution. There is shell on it and not to the flesh, but it's red.
Any suggestions to a vet in Sacramento, CA.???

He's a member of ARAV (I fixed Merlin's link above). He will sometimes make housecalls if needed, and with a Sulcata, it almost always is. LOL. We're over an hour from the doc, but he's worth it. I take my Iguana there, and my brother takes his Bearded Dragons there too.
