Help Please

I used to be an active member here... But I stopped coming, i dont remember why, probably just got busy and never thought to come back... But, i have a problem now...
My green Basilisk male, little' Guy T-Rex, had a small bite on his bottom eye lid caused by a cricket... it started to heal, but now it is VERY badly infected... i didnt notice how bad it really was until now. it is terrible. it looks bad... It is closed, can not open. it is crusty, and oozing clear fluids... Anyone know what I can get to help this? we have NO herp vets in our area... closest one is 5hrs away

Jo

There really isnt a way around it, you need to get him to a vet. If it is infected (which it sounds like it is) he'll need to be put on antibiotics or the infection will just spread and the lizard will die. Good luck, where are you located?
You might try looking for a vet on this site:
