I'll be calling my vet on Tuesday (this is a long weekend in Canada) to enquire about the procedure and cost for a necropsy on a Blue Tongue Skink. Has anyone here ever had one done? Any idea what it costs?

I'm not entirely sure what caused her death, at this point I'm blaming myself and feeling horrible about it. I picked up a snail from my dad's yard knowing that he doesn't spray anything and gave it to the female skink, she loved it. A friend of mine has been collecting snails from his yard and brought a bunch over a couple of days after I fed the first one. I gave one each to the 2 skinks, the female regurgitated her's later that day and never ate again. I thought she might be going into shed and would eat in a day or 2. She was dead nine days after the first snail was fed. The male is totally fine. The 2 skinks have never been together. I would at the very least like to have a blood test done for toxins and maybe an xray to see if the shell may have cut her internally.

Any ideas?
