I guess you have a point Merlin. Ive heard and was told to use it with a mite problem, but it never got that bad for me to use it though.

Or you could leave a water dish for them closer to their nest and away from the snakes. I once knew a lady who made sugar water for the ants everyday. She put it outside so the ants wouldn't come inside! Weird, but it worked for her. lol

Diatomacious Earth is a non chemical treatment for spider mites on plants.
Never heard of using it on reptiles.
