I've never had luck force feeding ball pythons or other snakes. I know getting the first meal down can be hard for even the experienced owner. I've had great results from placing the food item in the mouth of the snake. Then gently pinching the moth closed and replacing the snake in their cage. (you may have to repeat this 2-3 times.) Well today the method proved it's worth again. As my Newest BP ate for the first time in 3 weeks. Best of luck to you all.

Good deal Titus! As one who has a great deal of experience with forcefeeding smaller snakes,.. I can tell you it isn't for the faint of heart!
And its not much fun for either party!
