Now What!
Ok this may sound a bit strange but Dundee has some medicine for parasites and I have to give it to her by mouth. The problem is she will not open up so I can squirt it in! Anyone have any surefire ways to get her to say "Ahh"?

Yep, lol....I use a thin piece cardboard or credit card, put it to the front of her lips and she will open...she knows the routine!

Ok! I can do that! "He types with total lack of confidence" Should I wrap her in a towel or just swipe the credit card?

Ya'll crack me up!!! Wrap her in a towel, makes for a lot less squirming. Then card in one hand, syringe in the other, and get ready to squirt it in her mouth.

I think I'll use a Visa card! The wife likes it maybe Dundee will too! Although Sheri is quite fond of Discover as well. I'll have that one on hand as back-up!

All jokes aside, I'll let you know how things go tomorrow. She seems fine and the vet only found one egg but we want to be safe. She is quite healthy otherwise. Yay! She now has her own Vet and he is less than 5 minutes away! AND he thinks she's pretty!

Mine drinks drops off the tip of my finger. If he won't take it, I put it on his nose and he licks it off.

The credit card is pretty sure fire, but be prepared for the squirming. Even with a tightly wrapped Bearded Dragon burrito i've still gotten bitten, I was really glad when I was done treating Zola and my skinks for parasites.

My vet told me to use there favorite food and make them think that they are eating, it supposively calms them down, Ira just wound up biting the tip of my finger anyway, I would definately go with the credit card thing, it sounds so much easier.
