they sell 20g talls nearby but I dont know if thats big enough. also my dads girlfriend is bringing home a large tall aquarium so ill probably have its dimensions later this afternoon

I would go for a 29 gallon at least. It is as tall as a 20 tall and as long as a 20L. That should be a sufficiant amount of space.
