Rustoleum Painters Touch Spray Paint

Curiosity question on VOC's. Posted this in another thread but I think it got lost. Looked up the MSDS sheet for this spray paint and under the VOC's, they had listed Not Applicable. Are they trying to say that there are none or that the level is so low that they do not have to list it? Any "chemists" out there?

Re: Rustoleum Painters Touch Spray Paint

I found your other thread but I'll answer on this one so others can find it.
The rating for zero VOC's(volatile organic compounds) also includes those with very low levels. So a product that's listed as Zero could have minimal levels or it may actually be zero. In any case it's a good product to use.
People forget that using products that may be safe for household use. Such as a product that has medium levels. Could be toxic for long-term captives in a small area.

Awesome... Gonna use the Minwax on the outside but really liked some of the colors of the paint. Now I can have both...lol

Just be sure you also apply the polycrylic to the inside as well!

Not sure what you're building, but Great Stuff is usually sealed with silicone or epoxy depending on the intended use.

Re: Rustoleum Painters Touch Spray Paint

the enclosure for my water dragons. Didn't know if I could use the polyacrylic to seal the GS instead of the silicone.

Re: Rustoleum Painters Touch Spray Paint

The silicone is usually coated with Eco Earth or similar. You may want to investigate doing something like this: Making Fake Rocks The really cool stuff starts on page two.

Blew my mind when I first saw this stuff!
