Does The Wire Screen Slide On Herp Habitat?

I just bought the large Herp Habitat by Lees. It comes with a lockable lid with a wire screen for ventilation. However, it doesn't seem to have any access to get in to the enclosure without taking off the entire canopy top. This seems crazy since I am housing a Fire Bellied toad in it and he could easily jump out when doing this just to feed him. Does the wire screen slide somehow, so that I don't have to always pop off the entire huge canopy top? Underneath the canopy it looks like the wire screen is attached with metal screw. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated along with info on taking care of a fire bellied toad. He is my first one.

From what I could find on that product on the internet. It doesn't appear that they slide but as you said, the whole top comes off.
