I had that happen with a 55g tank. It was empty, and I was cleaning it out and put it on my deck. My neighbor saw it and asked me to sell it to her for her son's new bearded dragons. There's always someone who says they can get it cheaper. That's a scam. Just hope that their pride won't keep them from coming back and paying you your $75.00!

I haven't heard any more about it. She may have found another tank to better suit her needs. Perhaps she's found a used one she could afford, or perhaps she broke down and bought a new one for $120. Wouldn't that be ironic?

Anyway, my tank is in use again now, so I can't sell it to her, even if she did ask.

I do give away 20g tanks quite frequently when I'm not using them, but I can get replacement for those so easily. There's always someone selling a used one or giving them away because their fish died. But larger tanks are much harder to find used and are much more expensive new.
