On that subject, I was told that owning reptiles is illegal in New York City. I really hope this isn't true as my girlfriend plans on dragging me too NYC to live with her. Well...actually...she won't be dragging me. I adore NYC.

the legislation posted is for new york state as a whole,,,,new york city also has it's own regulations,,,which are quite strict (one reason I left) it is easier to get a pistol permit in nyc than it is to own "most" reptiles. basically if its not native you need a seriosly good reason to have one and get a liscence for one
