Canned bugs

Does anyone use these canned critter products? I keep seeing them and have never offered them to any lizard that I have owned ( I know haver a water dragon). Are the canned crickets, worms, grasshoppers, etc. a good supplement? I have always fed live but unless I order online, I can only get crickets, mealies, comets, and nightcrawlers in town. If you feed them to your animal, do you use one of those vibrating bowls to simulate "aliveness"? Thanks for your help.

From personal experience, they are not worth the monies. They smell awful and only one of my dragons would eat them, usually one can per feeding.

Yeah I've never used them but I hear a lot of them won't go for the dead bugs and who knows what they're feeding them?.

I bought a can of silkworms and the crickets ended up eating them.
Btw, there are a few threads about this on the forum
