Heating pads under glass tank?

I was wondering if human heating pads can be placed under glass aquariums or is that a bad idea because of the weight. I use them under some of my sterilites but I wanted to find a way to better increase the humidity in my Chinese Water Dragon tank without having to spray as much as I do.

If it's a bad idea then is there any reccomended heating pads to put under?

I used a human heating pad for the longest time with my Chinese Water Dragon but it was old so it kinda died one day. After that I used a Under Tank Heater I forget what kind it was but I know it wasnt a zoomed Under Tank Heater...dont even waste your money on those mine was green lol...I got it from bigappleherp.com You can also put a dripping wet towel over half the top of the enclosure...it brings the humidity up like 10-20% more.

I use human heat pads under all of my tanks and have never had a problem.

wow.. good timing!
I JUST put a heading pad under my tank.. make sure you don't have two layers of reptile carpet tht are preventing the heat from penetrating and working.. lol. I obviously had some complications

Let me know if it works for you!

A lot of members use them, search the forum.
They should not support the weight of the tank because that will make them overheat and possibly burn. Put some spacers just like you have to do with regular Under Tank Heater

Anything you want as long as it's stable and the enclosure doesn't slide. Small rubber pieces, (I don't know if you use it there but) bottle cork sliced, etc..
