I fed the newbie (Chinese Water Dragon) today for the first time (we've had him for three days) and he ate about 2 dz. crickets. I was thrilled that he wasn't too stressed to eat. I will be getting some mealies soon and maybe nightcrawlers for him to try. The pet store said that he will eat feeder fish. None of my other dragons did. When feeding fish, should I put them in his water bowl or do I lay them in a dish and let them flop around?

Use rosie reds as feeders, and you can put them in the water bowl or in a dish. Mine always ate them from the water bowl or feeding tweezers. When getting nightcrawlers youre gonna want to make sure they wernt raised in fertilized soils...it may be a good idea to keep them in clean potting soil for a week before you feed them to your WD...just to be on the safe side.
