I will try the newspaper first because it sounds lie it would be the easiest thing to try...without disturbing my gecko too much..The spots have been there for awhile I guess. I may have to do the vinegar or other ideas given when I clean the tank out next. I don't want to make my gecko upset right now..he is stressed from the new decor arrangement =) Thanks everyone. OH and I have been wiping after spraying now =) I guess I should have before, but I didn't know it would do that.

I haven't tried it yet because I didn't want to do it with my gecko in the aquarium. I wasn't sure if the smell or whatever would affect the poor thng. I am planning to giving it a try next cleaning...soon, but these spots have been there for a little while and I am not sure if something stronger is going to be needed. I don't want to have the tank ready for cleaning and then have the spots not come off. =) But I guess there is always nest time right lol...it is just alot of work getting this 55 gallon cleaned and not to mention my trouble maker living in it haha

I guess I could give that a try. The last time I cleaned I put my Tokay in a box and I felt bad, but it worked. I am afraid that I won't be able to catch the sucker in a 10 gallon (he is fast and gets nasty when cornered, lol) The box was small enough that I could put it in the 55 gallon when it was cleaned so he could get out himself. I didn't have heat for him, though and I was nervous about him being stress out. He didn't want to come out of the box when I was finished, so I left the box in front of his hide and he came out eventually.
