Hey folks. just a quick one.
Zeek my female bearded is digging in her laying box once again.... 3rd time in 3 months. All this from one mating.
My question is.... how many times is she likely to lay? first clutch was 26th of march with 20 viable eggs..... second clutch 20th april with 16 viable. Now She's just about to lay again.... and by just about I mean in next hour or 2!
She is also quite a young Bearded Dragon and i'm starting to get concerned about her.
I do feed her like mad between clutches.... few pinkies.... loads of veg.... tonnes of locusts, crickets, superworms, and silkworms . ALL highly supplemented with nutrobal and powdered cuttle fish bone.
Just don't want her wearing herself out. :-(
Also running out of space rapidly in incubator! ;-)

Have you seperated her from the male yet?

Godzookie has'nt been near her since first mating!
Both clutches previously where EXACTLY 4 weeks apart.... this clutch is very near the 4 week mark.
Both Bearded Dragons pine when parted but I just wont put them together.

From what Ive read its normal for them to lay multiple clutches...but someone who knows more about them then I do should be along shortly to better help you

Andy...they can lay up to at least 5 clutches from one mating..most I have had was 2,,but 5 is not rare. You are doing everything correct, but you will have to go with the flow till shes done.

She's finished laying now.... another 20 eggs... incubator all filled now.
She's 228 grams.... 7 and 7/8 oz.....time to try and fatten her up a bit again.
