hey folks. Got a few non urgent iguana related questions.
1. I know iguana's sneeze out salt. but how much is normal? Lucifer's glass was smeared stupid after just 2 and a half weeks.
2. Lucifer has a large container of water in his viv but never goes near it....however I bathed him today in my tub and he seemed to love it... how often should I bathe him?
3. I know iggy's wont drink standing water and I always spray the sides of the viv and the plants but never see him drink. EVER. Always spray his veggies to make sure if doesn't dehydrate.... is this normal?

First question ...snalting is normal....If I want my iguana's glass clear, I have to wash it daily LOL....they just do it that much.

Second question. my iguanas are the same way...they dont go near their water dishes but love a bath. Some people bathe their iguanas daily, others every few days etc...depends on your schedule....Daily is great for the iguana.

Third question. iguanas WILL drink standing water (I've seen mine do it) although its not often. If their greens and veggies are watered enough, they dont really need it. Misting the iguana directly also gives them moisture. Hope this helps.

Things are just so different between lucifer and my water dragons and Bearded Dragons that i'm playing a major game of catch up.
always said i'd do alot of research and soul searching before even thinking about an iguana but when one gets dumped on your doorstep.... literally..... all good intentions are gone except making sure the iggy is kept well and happy!
