Butterfly agamas??

Yesterday, for the first time, I met a butterfly agama. I fell in love. I had always thought that my second lizard would be another uromastyx, but this lizard was so beautiful.....

She/he had such a dainty face, was small, and apparently stays small, had a long tail, was beautifully mottled, velvety to the touch, affordable - both the lizard and the tank, considering they're much smaller than the uromastyx - and I know absolutely NOTHING about them.

Can someone tell me about butterfly agamas? Do they make good lizard pets? Why is it that I have never heard of them before? All I know at this point is that they are adorable and that they eat crickets and that they need a water bowl in their terrarium, unlike the uromastyx.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Allie.
