Ok so first of all I dont know what Hide is I would like someone to tell me what it is I read about it in the caresheets.
Second I think Im as ready as Ill ever be for the reptile department I know everything about all of the snakes and lizards in the care sheet section but still learning about turtles. So Im in the chat room right now and if some of you experts could go in there and possibly test me ? if you have time, That would be awesome. Thanks guys you have helped me so much so far I found my new home !

A hide is exactly as it sounds, it is a secure shelter for your herp. Most herps need 2 or 3 hides, but the more hiding places the better. Have you decided which herp is the best for you?

A hide can be anything from a sheet of newpaper to an over turned bowl to a half log to a rock cave. Any place that the animal can retreat to and feel safe. Think about the places you find herps in the wild. Under rocks, beneath a slab of bark or a peice of tin. or buried in a pile of leaves.

A hide got it like you hide in it lol. I thought it was like an animal hide some kind of leather or something that your animal could lay on. Anyways my top 4 herps are all geckos or bearded dragons.

yeah, hides make them feel safe and cant wait to see what you choose to get!

could also call it a small house.

or when it comes to compairing it to other animals things...
a hide is the same as a hutch, a doghouse, a barn, or a stall. except its for reptiles.
