This is what our member has to say: Hi, Ummm, Does it mean anything when you can see like a line on ethier side of your chameleons back spikes??? I have never heard ...

Line on Chameleon

Hi, Ummm, Does it mean anything when you can see like a line on ethier side of your chameleons back spikes??? I have never heard of anything bad in my research, But I am just making sure, He eats very well and he is very active for a chameleon, and his colors are nice, all around he looks healthy. Any info??? Thanks

is it scale/skin coloration ? or does it seem like a scab or fungus ?

No it looks like a muscle like under his skin, lining each side of his back, and kinda down the base of his tail
