From photos I have in various books I can see a ridge line that starts behind the head running parallel down both sides of the spine on the various chams:
Parsons, Jacksons 3 horned,Yemeni Veiled, Oustalet, Flap necked, Cameroon, and Panther. I've never owned or cared for a Cham before so I can't say from experience but by looking at these various photos I would say it is a natural occurance. As long as he's healthy and is getting vitamin d3-calcium and a good UV source I would think he's fine. If you notice this getting more pronounced a trip to the vet would not hurt. We do have some Cham keepers here, hopefully one will come by and offer first hand experience.
