What is your humidity in the enclosure? As with some reptiles (not all), they will cut back or even stop eating when in shed.

Good job Humidity should be kept at least at 60-70% at all times and increasing as necessary. Try misting the tank a couple times a day. Do you have a large water bowl for him to soak in?

Hey man, I can totally relate.
Whillomina ( my boa ) is in the SAME predicament! We usually have great sheds with no prob but this one is a patchy one too.
I mist 4 times daily, temp is 88 and she has a huge bowl to soak in. I'm totally baffled. What's going on????? I'm starting to get in a panic.

the dry air in the house has nothing to do with the air inside the cage which should be humid..and water dragons are closely related to the bas. your humidity in the cage should be around 70% as stated

Depending on the type of enclosure the dry air inside the house will affect the humidity level inside an enclosure. Very few enclosures are air tight, nor should they be. And if you are dealing with a lot of mesh it is a major problem.

well my encosure has solid sides and back and the front is plexy glass with circular areas with holes drilled in it and it seems if I block of some of the holes the humidity will go up quite a bit but I need to figure out a way to make it stay the same humidity all of the time, becuase for me to keep it consistent now I have to mist at least 5-8 times a day and with my work schedual this just isnt possible
