Dusting Mealies.. |

Dusting Mealies..
I dont know about you guys but I dust all of shocks (baby WD)food items...including his mealies which is really hard, beacuse the calcium never seems to stick to them....so I guess my question is do I really need to dust the mealies..I dust everythign else, crix, veggies,waxies and whatever other bugs I feed him

No, its not really necessary to dust the mealies since you are providing the dust on everything else.

I use a worm dish in my leo tanks, and always have just a little dust in the bottom of the bown for the worms to crawl around on and feed on, I figures it couldnt hurt, lol.

I just dust the crix for the Bearded Dragons as they are a daily food item. For the iggys I sprinkle a little over their "salad".

I cheat and hand feed the mealies to my adult BD and cham (and now the leo too) - as I know they will be eaten straight away I dip them in a lttle water and coat half of them with calcium - works a treat

I hand feed all of my WD individually...I like to keep track of how much they eat lol..and I also lke to make my other two fatties chase the crix a little bit..you know..to get a bit of a workout! Ill try the water thing...thanks for the responses!
