Corns having difficutly changing from Pinkies to fuzzies

Ok, I thought changing the two corns from pinkies for fuzzes would be no big deal. They don't know what to do with the fuzzy. They are not sure where the head is or how to get it in their mouths. We tried wiggling it in front of the snake and they wouldn't even strike at it. I have left it in their feed boxes now for about 45 minutes and they haven't eaten it. Any suggestions please.

A new prey item could spook them a bit. 45 mins really isn't all that long, i'd leave em a while longer and see if they can figure it out. good luck.

I was feeding the corns before he got home from school. He told me that I was taking care of his animals not him. Now you know why!!

lol. You might want to try feeding both a pinkie and a fuzzy. Feed the pinkie and as soon as it goes down introduce the fuzzy while the corn is in feeding mode.

Thanks guys, we got one to eat last night and today I went out and got some more pinkies and a small fuzzy. The male corn takes forever to eat anything from the time he got the fuzzy in his mouth it took about 5-10 minutes for it all go be gone from his mouth. The pinkies are about as bad I'm guessing up to 5 minutes.
