Normal behavior after feeding?

I just got done Feeding my corns and I have a couple of questions, first of all I have a feeding box for them and I was feeding the female first, I put her in the box with the pink (3 grams) and she went up to it flickering the tongue so I figured she was going to go for it so I left the room because I didnt wanna alarm her or make her nervous. I came back in 10 mins later and she was still looking at it, so I picked her up and was gonna try feeding her in her enclosure(she may feel safer I thought) but as soon as her head was overtop of the pink she grabbed it and began to eat it so naturally I put her down and she let go of it..so I put her above it again and once again she grabbed it and began to eat it, once she got the head all the way in her mouth I put her down and she ate the rest...and my male did the exact same thing...I think maybe the breeder I got them from fed themthis way? I dont know..after my male ate He was rubbing his face along the bottom of the feeding box, like the sides of his mouth...is this normal behavior? Also the female was ''pacing'' the feeder box flickering her tongue alot as if looking for another pink, should I offer her 2 pinks next time or increase her prey size? Thanks for taking the time to read this!! I really apprecitate you guys help..Id be lost with out HC!

I really can't tell you what is normal or not as we have only had corns since December. But our male has to attach his pinkie from the top down also. He takes along time to find and attack the pinkie. The female will eat two and be put back in the cage and the male is still working on his first. The female will eat anything in her feeding box.

If the pinkies are frozen thawed, its possible that YOU moving the SNAKE made the snake believe the prey was actually moving. Some animals prefer their prey to be moving. I use hemostats and pinch the tails and make the f/t "dance". My corn takes the mice upon the first twitch. My BP takes a few seconds longer, but he always goes for the movement.

That is very normal. He was just repositioning his jaw.

Does the prey leave a lump after she eats it? If it doesn't, try to go up to the next size. If you have more pinkies and are concerned about them going to waste, just feed 2 at a time until they are gone and then upgrade.

Corns are pigs and will eat as much as you give them. If the pinkie leaves a lump, don't upgrade and don't feed 2 at a time.
