LOL! Albino is a color phase not a species. Most of the albinos I see are California Kings and are treated the same way as the normals.

I think what Merlin was getting at is what species of king snake is it? As different ones require different conditions.....

Ok
Give them a warm end of 85-88°F and a cool end of 75°F Humdity 40-50%, not as important as it is for other species Will get to about 5ft give or take a bit Not as calm as corns when young but do calm down to be just as placid when adult Will need a tank roughly 30"x24" when adult, height is not a factor as they are terrestrial Best substraight is newspaper although you can keep them on Aspen Think thats about it....anything else you want to know ask away ![]()

LOL! Thanks Joe!
mshrmheadcharge-no need to be embarrassed. You would not be the first person to assume that all kingsnakes are treated the same way. ![]()

LOL! Most young colubrids are bit squirmy as compared to boids. And they will never be a snake to just sit and chill with but they will usually calm somewhat.
