Sick/Hurt Baby Bearded
I work at a local petstore and we constantly get groups of baby Bearded Dragons in. Yesterday, one of my coworkers notices a runt in the cage that had its mouth all cut up and it was very skinny. So, I immediatly set it up a seperate cage for itself. I tried to put some crickets in its cage but it just sat there so I got a seringe (without the needle) and smashed up some crickets, vegatables and added some bird multivitamins and force fed the little guy some of the liquid. What I need to know is how to get him to start eating and if I should do anything about the sores around his mouth?

It sounds like to me he needs a vet visit.asap..the store should have one they normally use. You can use peroxide to clean his mouth, and use Neosporin, topical triple antibiotic ointment. I would also increase his temps. Does he look dehydrated? Depending on his mouth injuries, i would not force feed but make his food liquified and if you drop a little on his nose he will lick it off, then continue. What set up do you have him in now?

I agree with Marsha's recommendations with one exception, instead of peroxide I would suggest using a povidone (iodine) solution (deluted with water to the strength of med tea) and with a Qtip, wash the solution over the bite wounds (it will not hurt the dragon if it gets in their mouth).
