I read at someone's site that was linked in their siggy, that you can mail order crickets, etc. online.

What are the best places to do this? It would be a lot easier then trekking to the pet store with 4 kids in tow every few days.

With only one gecko, I wouldnt order online...most would die before you would use them. Buy $5 of crix at a time and keep them in a small tank or plastic critter keeper then you only have to go like once a week ....I understand having to drag human children into a petstore...with 7 kids, I have been doing it a long time....LOL....good luck...Lyn

Yes, I realized that myself Lyn after I posted. I was thinking, wait a minute...that's a LOT of crickets...4 kids...bin full of live crickets, hundreds of them.

MAY not be the best idea, lol.

But yes, I like the idea of doing like 5.00 at a time instead. I was doing a dozen at a time with the anole, but she didn't eat as much as the Leo does.

Thanks to you both! If things go the way I think, we'll end up having more reptiles in the future, so I'll keep that link bookmarked.

I think I'll end up having a petting farm, lol. We already have 1 dog, 3 cats, the Leo, and my daughter is also joining a rabbit 4-H club, so I know a bunny's not too far off. She's my oldest, almost 9. By the time my three boys get that age, a small zoo isn't far off.

Even this forum has um, become addictive. aranoid

But just think of all the potential for quality entertainment! LOL by the time I was 9 I was already terrifying my mother. She never knew WHAT I would drag home!
