Hi I just got him a week ago and just want to know if I should buy a heated water bowl for the winter?

I've never put heat on mine, had two of them for two years and three others for a good year now. I keep all five in a tank together, they sing and hump all day and night and never seem to have problems. They're in the same room as the other herps, which runs around 78 during the day and 74 at night. Perfectly happy, no need for special lighting (in fact they prefer as little light as possible, so I just let my windows do the work...no direct sun though!)...why don't I just show you some pictures?

What are the temperatures in there during the winter? If it is too cold, I would buy a light to heat the tank's air, rather than heat the water bowl.

Hi. I'm not sure what the temp. should be. The temp now is around 86 I have a light called reptisun and it raises the temp by around two degrees.

You can probably get by without the light. Air temp can be about 70-80 degrees, even as low as 65 at night. Water temp should be about 70 degrees F. The majority of the tank should be water and plants though, with 1/4th being land.
