Silly question

Hi everybody! This may sound like a stupid question but will it bother my leopard geckos if I take pics of them and use a flash on the camera or is it better to just turn it off and hope the lighting is okay?
I am new at this reptile thing and I want to make sure I don't do something to them to make them uncomfortable or stressed.
Thanks.
Niki

Well, like people, it will probably bother their eyes a little for a few seconds, but nothing more than that. Just don't take pics when its too dark. Being nocturnal, their pupils get huge when its dark. Suddenly flashing light into those wide open pupils is going to hurt like heck.

It doesn't seem to bother my leo, but my iguana hates it and tries to whip...I think it may be a personal preference.

B***hface doesn't seem to mind the flash.

wow...because her name was in the link it wouldn't let me post it witho editing it! I had to change all kinds of stuff...just for your viewing pleasure

Great pic Lacey, that's a fantastic close up of her eye!

Niki., it shouldn't bother them, doesn't seem to bother ours at all.

*bows* thankyou, thankyou, I'm pretty proud of it considering it was like the 3rd pic I took with my new camera. There will be plenty more where that came from.
