To get her well start fresh, clean the cage and use newpaper or paper towels. The reptisun light is fine but uvb will not go through glass or fine mesh screen, you need a screen with at least a 1/2 inch mesh, I use hardware cloth that is plastic coated, and make sure the light is about 12 inches from her. To raise the tanks temp you can use a human heating pad, they have good temperature contols in the cord, just set it under 1/2 of the tank so she can regulate herself. You can mix the cacium in some pedialyte to help keep her hydrated. When was the last time she went to the bathroom? Next time she goes take the stool to any vet for a fecal, they do not have to be herp specialists to look for parasites.
Keep us informed.

Also, do you know exactly what bulb you bought? Many out there are advertized as basking lights, full spectrum, UV, and UVA, but uless it specifically says UVB, its not the right thing.

I changed the bark to newspaper and got her a screen top I also bought a new light just in case. she came out of her hide to and was walking around last night and she was actually swimming this morning so I am taking these as good signs. I know it will take awhile before she is better but it is still good to see her trying as much as I am. I really appreciate everyones help in trying to get her better. I am still open to suggestions.
Ill keep yu posted on her progress.
Thanks again,
Crystrena

another problem
Scout seems to be doing alot better she is becoming active again and she was even able to eat a pinkie by herself but now the end of her tail is really dry and brittle as if it is going to break off and it has pink spots right above it like an infection or something I am very concerned about it. Anyone know what it could be?

It sounds to me like dry gangrene, and if it is, get her to a vet right away before the infection spreads!

I agree with Moshpitrockchick!
My iguana had dry gangrene when I first got her and she ended up having to have approx. 5 inches removed off her tail!
She has a funny looking tail but made a full recovery.
Good luck and keep us updated please.

I am getting scout ready for her long trip to the vet and hoping that she will forgive me for the stress it may cause when all is aid and done ( she does not like to be talken out of her cage and put into a new one) but I am sure it will be for the best. her tail hasnt gotten any worse but it doesnt seem to have gotten any better either. I dont want to take any chances. It means alot that you guys tried to help so much I love her alot so thank you much. I will keep everyone posted on what happens at the vet.

How did the vet visit go? Did you ever find any liquid calcium? you should be able to buy it in any pharmacy either in the vitamin aisle or behind the pharmacy counter- just ask.
If you need a closer vet this page lists one in Las Vegas:
