Vets in Eastern Washington
I'm looking for a good vet in eastern washington, hopefully, one that someone can give me a first hand account of visiting, i've gone to vets that I have found online that claim to treat exotics, but a lot of them haven't had a clue what they are doing. Reptiles aren't hugely popular around here and most of the vets that I have called have said,
" ummmm I guess so, the doctor is with some horses right now, but we'll see if we can get you in" and then I bring in my iggy and he says something that is way off the mark like, " wow this is a big one, it must eat a ton of mice" I politely correct him and tell him to have a nice day, I want to find good care for my herps that I don't have to drive out of state for, but if thats what it takes i'll do it....Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch! |

You might try looking in www.Herpvetconnection.com it is a site where the listing is placed by the clients not by the vets themselves. Many also have testimonials posted. I was pleased to find that mine was already posted there. There is also the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Vets www.ARAV.com. Good luck!
