Hello,
I would say the same Dom. lol I actually believe it is the price that impacts most peoples purchases. You can get the Powersun for $30-40 dollars and have the highest output contained within a dime to nickel shaped sphere, or you can have a light that consumes 90% of the iguana when angled properly for $75.00.

Maybe its just me, but I see a HUGE difference between these lights. (I have tested them both. In fact, I have tested several lights. The Mega Ray has out shined, and out performed EVERY light I have tested it against. I don't endorse many products, but I stand behind this light 100% for performance and UV output. It IS the superior light.)

Hows that saying go again? Oh yeah, you get what you pay for!

I still prefer the lawn on a sunny day to the cage and MegaRay, much more comfortable a place to crash when exhausted. No light bulb or person will sell me otherwise.

I don't have a meter but I can tell that the bulbs are very different between the old and new, even down to raw housing and frosting on the bulb face. The old bulb was heavilly frosted and this one is almost clear. The old one had a 12" rating of 277 before shipping but this one is not rated on the side.

Another number many people don't look at is the cost of operation. This EB is 60W, aren't the powersun's ~150 W? Many animals can't be close enough to the ZooMed lamp at that wattage because of the raw energy it dissipates.
