This may seem like a dumb question, but it is something I am not sure about.

My husband complains EVERY day on the smell in the library, where my bearded dragon is. The smell is mainly the crickets. He went and purchased a Febreeze air freshener that plugs into the wall and dispenses so much into the air. Could this possibly hurt my Bearded Dragon?

That I'm not sure on. But what you can do with the crickets is clamp on a light bulb to the container. A regular 60 watt bulb is fine. It will cut down on the moisture buildup in the container which is what causes the smell.

I have done this. I beleive you mentioned it to me on my thread about crickets. My husband wants to get rid of the lizard and complains about everything. The light did cut back on quite a bit of the smell along with more frequent cleanings.

I've used the glad plug ins before when I had my Blue Tongue Skink. They had no effects from them. I wouldn't spray that febreeze to close to them. It doesn't really stay in the air that long.

What he bought was more along the lines of a glade plug-in. It has the liquid you insert up into the plug and when plugged in it puts out the fragrance.

It shouldn't hurt him. I'd make sure to plug it in as far away from the cage, though. You will still get the benefits of the pretty smell, but it will likely be too dissipated by the time it reaches your dragon to matter one way or another.

We can breathe it in, and generally if we can breathe it in, so can they.

I hope this works for you...is it warm enough there to keep the crickets in the garage outside or something? Then maybe your husband cant complain? I dunno just trying to come up with an idea that would work for both of you. lol

Right now it hasn't been staying consistantly warm outside to put them there, but when it is I will probably move them out.

I have been only keeping it plugged in for part of the day. This keeps the cricket smell down and I think regulates both smells somewhat efficiently.
