It is really light grey. I am not sure if I sould add color to it or not. I am afraid it won't be safe. I didn't want to have to seal it also...si I wonder if there is any coloring to add to the mix..that will be safe as is?

anyone know? I heard of something with no vloite? but I have no clue what that means lol any help?

I don't mind having it light grey though, but it would look better a tan or borwnish to go with the river rock I want to put in the pools.

Just mix in some acrylic craft paint. Get it from a kids craft store. Usually all the products they carry will be non-toxic. Just the same though check the labels.

thanks...so any acrlic that is labeled non toxic will be safe to mix in? I want to be sure cause I don't want to harm my crabbies...plus this will be in water too...so I have to make sure it will be ok to use for the pools and waterfall; plus the dry wall as well.

the color should sink into the mortar and should be fine. Just be sure its non-toxic.

thanks so much for your help!!! I will be on the look =) I want to get things moving ya know..it took afew weeks to get the mortar. I will try to do some on Saturday, but who knows....I think I should have time to at least get the pools and waterfall done...maybe figure out where I want the driftwood.
