hear that Antibacterial soap is dangerous, anyone know if this is true and why? What does everyone clean their enclosure and accessories with? What about vinegar and water? Or just plane soap and water?
So I finally got a 23 gallon for Skittles and bleached the **** out of it. I put a couple parts bleach to a lot of parts hot hot water and washed the inside and outside. Then I poured that out and poured another bunch of hot water in and washed the inside and outside and poured that out. Then I got tired of doing that so got the hose and sprayed the inside and outside with water and poured that out. It still smelled like bleach so I sprayed it...poured it...sprayed it...poured it...It's outside drying on the balcony and it still smells like bleach. So I'm guessing everyone doesn't do this on a weekly basis, so what do you use? I was using antibacterial soap for the substrate but now I hear 'it's poisonous and can kill your gecko'. This was not backed up with any evidence whatsoever, just yelling.
