rescues are here!

This is what our member has to say: Those are noisy obnoxious birds! My mom has 6 cockatiels and about 100 parakeets... WAY too many... they don't even shut up at night!...

I don't know any snake people, but here are some bird rescue links from around the state, alot of the bird ladies are dedicated (re:crazy) and would drive over to help a rescuer in need.

http://www.tlcbirdhaven.org/about.htm

Mollywood Avian Sanctuary. Rescue only; 501(c)(3). Focus on cockatoos with no fatal contagious diseases. Bellingham. mollywood@parrot-rescue.org

Pampered Parrots Avian Rescue. Rescue and adoption; Spokane, (509) 218-343*, admin@pamperedparrots.org
I don't know if Rich wants the phone number posted in a post so PM me if you want that last digit!

Also this site has some listings: http://www.cockatielrescue.org/rescue.phtml

Look at the vocal cords on that one

I can imagine your pain, there are TONS.. and I do mean TONS of wild parrots right across the bay from me in St. Petersburg. Whenever I have to work over there, I hear flocks of parrots raising a **** that's nearly painful to behold. I love animals, couldn't imagine having that ruckus in my home though.

I wish you were closer, I would help you out. It makes me proud that there are people like you to help counterbalance that worthless piece of dung. I would definitly take the pictures to the SPCA, animal police, or whatever you have in your area. That is so far past neglect and into abuse. Keep up the good fight.

She just hoses it down. During the winter only the floor gets hosed though. I'll get some pics so you can see how large it is.
