Some will,, some won't. Depends on the species. Comunal snakes will sometimes breed when they are kept together (my corns do)

you will generally get better success if they are separated. But they mite still breed if you keep them together...just burmate them...after the cooling period it should trigger a breeding response. You will just have to see what happens... if they have not bred, separate them for a while then reintoduce. Sometimes it is not species dependant, just individuals preference.

I house my pair of Ball Pythons together (for years) on a permanent basis and there has never been any sign of breeding behavior.
Sort of like the old adage "absence makes the heart grow fonder".

i have them seperated at mo and intend to let them mingle in about a half a month and hope the snakes in the words of the late great marvin gaye "let's get it on"
