When can you feed pinkies to a bearded or a leo? How old or big do they have to be? Mine are still quite little I just am asking for future references! Thanks

I have a few adult Leopard Geckos and I don't feed them any pinkies or anythings.

It is advised to not feed anything larger than the distance between the animals eyes. With that said I also advise agaisnt using pinkies frequently. They are very high in fat. My dragon gets a pinky about once every six months, but it seem like not giving them more than once per month is the standard.

Yea I know there not really that good beacuse of the fat. I was just wondering becuase I want to try it like you said about 1 every 6 months for a good snack! I know I like a good meal every now and again! HAHA! Anyways, i also heard about between the eyes thing. Thanks I think I will wait a little yet till I feed them pinkies!

My female leo is about a year old and she loves day-old pinkies (even though I've only given them to her two or three times).

However, not all Leopard Geckos like them, because my male wont eat them at all...actually, one time my male didn't eat his so my female ate two.

i would say wait till your leo is full grown, at like 1.5-2 years and make sure it is a very small pinky... as for the dragon, really depends on the size of the dragon, and how fas they are growing, i would say wait until the dragon is atleast 12-13 inches in length others may be able to give some more advice...
