mold or spider mites again!

ok, so I had some type of bugs when I had plants in my Tokay's tank, but I did a thorough clean and removed all plants..scrubed and baked the wood you name it...except soak the gecko =) which was suggested in the mite advice. He is just a tough to handle!

well, now I notice his "poop" is fuzzy looking sometimes if I don't clean it out for acouple days? Is it mold from the humidity or maybe the spider mites or whatever kind of bugs from before?

Thanks everybody! It is a strange question to ask if poop gets moldy lol =) I don't see any bugs, but I know it is difficult to see them.

What should I look for? I saw pics of mites but are spider mites smaller??? Also worrring me is..I have another very humid tank with hermit cras. The moss in the tank had web like stuff on it, but I removed it and added salt to the moss so it could also be mold or spider mites! What do I do? Please don't be mites
Thanks for the help

It doesn't sound like mites to me. The gecko poo definitely sounds moldy to me. I'm not su what to make of the web-like stuff on the moss though.

it is very strange. The web stuff was only in the new moss I put in. I boiled0 it in distilled water and put it in...the next day it was like that, but the other moss in there with the salt water and sorta dried out wasn't like that, but that moss was there for a while, so f it was mold or what ever why was it in the new moss and not anywhere else? I am glad you don't think it is mites, but then what could it be.
