You may want to try fedex. You will probably have to set up an account with them. But DHL doesn't ship reptiles according to them and Ups doesn't either. Fedex is the only one that I have found beside Delta Dash which deliver Snakes. If you need international you may want to try delta dash or call your local airport and see if any air carrier companies will transfer your buddy for you!

I wonder if the two baby cornsnakes DHL KILLED when they were supposed to deliver them to me (but instead left them on other people's doorsteps -- in the sun -- and failed to track them down for a couple of hours) caused them to change their policy on shipping reptiles? I doubt it. I think some right hands don't know what some left hands are doing at DHL... If they can't find my suburban street with a MAP, I can't expect them to have a clue about their own policies I guess!

(Please excuse me. Normally I'm nice and calm, but my DHL experience was horrible -- and it was completely their mistake. The shipper, our dear Marsha, did everything right and was very attentive to the shipping process -- she was on top of it and they still messed it up!)

Thank you all for your suggestions and replies... but... I have made the incredibly painful decision not to bring Nietzsche with me. My boy has been such a wonderful part of my life and I don’t want to give that up. But sometimes what’s best for the human is not what’s best for the pet, and I fear this is one of those cases. He hasn’t been eating well sense the fire, there’s been a definite change in behavior sense that awful night, and I know he has a weak immune system and is prone to RI’s, and while he behaved amazingly during the fire, it’s obviously tweaked him out, and I don’t want to add the stress of moving to a new continent to the mix, it wouldn’t be fare to him. There was a ridiculous amount of commas in that sentence and I apologize.

At any rate, I am trying to find him a new home, I posted in the adoptions forum, I don’t want any money for him, I just want to know that he’ll have 1 home for the rest of his life were someone will love him the way that I love him. Thanks again.
