Hemp bedding is a good light substrate. Sand boas should always have access to water though your can let their bowl dry out for a day or two. A fan can also help lower the humidity in the cage.

What about the fluffy stuff? I'm not sure what it's called but it's like little foam pieces kind of fluffy light weight is that ok as long as I put it high enough for them so they can dig? Or NO?
