Getting Concerned

I'm probably just being paraniod but I'm getting concerned about my year old iguana. He seems to have stopped growing he doesn't eat as much as I think he should even though evrything temps, humidity, etc are perfect. Even though he is a year old he is still only about 7" Snout to vent.

This is my baby.

He looks healthy happy and alert, maybe he is just a late bloomer. You should post up all of your husbandry details so we can pik them apart and see if we can find a reason that he might not be growing.

Mine isn't huge either, as long as the vet checks are going well, I would not be concerned, some are just slower going is what I was told.

Moshpitrockchick,
He is in a 4' long by 1.5' tall by 1' wide tank fitted out with a 10.0 zoo med fluorescent tube and a ceramic heat emitter fitted to a thermostat. he also has a Under Tank Heater to help humidity. His temps are 100 degrees under the ceramic heat emitter and 70 degrees(ish) by the Under Tank Heater. His humidity is 70-80%. His daily diet consists of rocket, escarole, watercress (can't get dandilion, mustard greens, etc) with snap peas, squash, parsnip, carrot, grape, aubergine(egg plant), sweet potato. He also gets a calcium supplement given to me by the rep vet.

Everything to me seems ok but he doesn't seem to be growing. Could it be his fluorescent tube it was bought new 8 months ago, might it need replacing

The recommend replacing them every six months or so. Is the light on top of the cage or inside of it? I'f its going through a fine screen that could be blocking the UVB rays.
