do water dragons make noises?

Yesterday and today I heard Scarlett let out a barklike noise...
She mouth was open and she just kinda belted it out.. cough or noise?
Do they even cough?
I'm just scared she's sick... it would be lovely.
Her appetite hasn't been on par the last few days. She only wants mealies.. no crickets...
Gosh, I'm worried...

Hello,

Hopefully someonme with more information wil be able to respond to this. I have never kept Water dragons and I would hate to mislead you with "possibilities" of what the sound could have been. I guess I will learn something from this post as well it seems.

None of my Water Dragons ever made any sort of noise, even during breeding. Coughing COULD be a sign of a RI, but it could also be from stress(possibly being handeled too much) What are your temps/humidity and substrate? YOu should open up her mouth and look down her throat for any mucus or to see if her mouth is more wet then it usually is

humidity has been lovely for the first time EVER since I got her new enclosure set up. I rarely EVER get below 60%.. usually with some extra misting I can maintain at about 70-80%
Temps have been nice cause I can get a great range in the huge area. It's 92 under her basking spot.. about 88 ambient.. and there's a nice gradient down to about 75-78 in the lower cooler areas of her tank....

I'm just terrified cause if I lose Scarlett it's going to kill me.. she was my first love!

I can't tell you if Chinese Water Dragon's make noise but I will say that both my Bearded Dragon and my skinks have made noises and they are not supposed to, granted it was under extinuating circumstances, but it still happened. Apparently lizards don't like to be restrained and medicated, and they were very vocal about that!
