We didn't think our yearling corn could get out either. Escaped just before I was leaving for a herp weekend. Found him, behind one of the beds. Put something heavy on the tank lid (lid was metal and had latches on both ends that were a tight fit). We got back from the weekend and Sean see the snaking coming out of the tank again. He was able to push up a corner even though it appeared to be secure. He was changed to a sterlite container and he hasn't tried to escape yet. On the other hand we lost one over 6 months ago..we see signs of shed on the floor now and then but that is all. One of these days we'll find her. LOL

Also try getting down, laying on the floor and looking around. you would be surprised the number of places you might find to check. Many dressers and other furniture has a little lip under them right above floor level.

Good luck with yuor search, and don't worry she will turn up! I know you are comopletely freaked out ad kicking yourself right now but it hapeens to the best of us. Being wound up and stressed out isnt going to help. Relax and she will turn up.

It's amazing how strong they are! I lost a corn snake in my house and never found him. Our kingsnake got out once and was gone a month. I finally found him in the garage, how he got in there I haven't a clue. I used to raise mice for my snakes and there he was on top of their cage eating one of them! Maybe try putting a mouse in a tank with the lid on and see if he shows up for a meal! Good Luck!!
