we got libby a new tank this weekend is there any way I can salvage her old Under Tank Heater and get it to the new tank?

They say not to because when you take them off you may break the wires in them. It will lead to a short and could start a fire or just kill your breaker to your room. I would advise against it.

I've reused as well. But as Lacey says it never sticks well again. It's more of a pain and as already stated more of a danger than it's worth.
