post escape!
Seeing as my snake escaped and was found in a pile of rubble, will I need to get her checked out for parasites etc? and should I clean her in a large water bowl?
How long do you think I should leave her to calm down? just she eat fine when she came out and no regurg..... so how stressed might she be? She also went for me this morning through the cage as I checked to see if she was still there! didn't go up to the cage fast and she just went for me! is this normal? |

Since she was inside I wouldn't worry about parasites and just a wipe down with a damp cloth should be enough to remove any ash or debris from the skin. Although you could bathe her as well but not immediately after a feeding.
Sometimes after an escape period they may seem to go a bit wild. It should subside and return to normal fairly quickly.

Its possible if she was chilled while she was out. Or it could be that she inhaled some dust or ash in the rubble. Bring the warm end of the enclosure up to about 90.
Also a regurge will at the begining look somewhat like a coughing motion. If the behavior continues for more than a day a vet visit is in order.
