Thank goodness you are all right! There is a good reminder in all of this though and that is "Be Prepared". Keep a pillow case or carrier near your pets so in case there is an emergency you won't be scrambling around to find something to put them in. Besides my torts and turtles, I have a snake, 4 dogs, 3 cats and 3 large Birds (a macaw, and 2 Amazons). I make sure I have a carrier or pillow cases ready for each of them just in case.

Lo all, just wanted to give an update.
Nietch is fine, tho he refused his meal today, not realy surprised tho. i'll try again later this week... but god he's such a trooper, should have known it'd take more than a fire to bring him down, lol. as for the appartment... well... still dont know when we'll be able to get back in there. looking more like 2 months now ::sigh:: IT WAS A REALY COOL APPARTMENT TOO!
oh well, we're staying with a friend of mine who adores Nietzsche, and his living room floor is carpeted which makes the whole sleeping bag thing less sucky. thanks to all for your support and advice, it's been more helpfull than you know!
