Aww poor little guy! Scarlett had a minor burn on her face once.
As I was putting her back in her tank, she jumped off my arm and right onto her heat lamp. I felt soooooo bad

Poor monitor! But poor Erick, too. He seems like such a nice guy... Maybe instead of beating him you should try hyponotism. And while he's under, you could give the hypnotist a few other suggestions for Erick: "You really, really love to give Savannah a backrub every day when she gets home from work!" You could get some real value for your money there: a safer monitor and tension-free muscles.

Thanks, he has actually developed a respitory infection, so recovery isnt going to be as fast as it was with the last burn. I feel horrible for allowing him to get burned again, and the RI is my fault as well...last week I noticed he had some mucus in his throat but didint think that it was the beginning of a RI, obviously I was wrong.

instead of a flogging for erick why don't you just put a powerful heating pad under his pillow for as long as your monitor is suffering? Sounds fair imo
