I have been reading a few threads and care sheets for various reps and there are occasion where people are talking about using your heat mat with a thermostat to regulate the temp of the heat mat.

My question is that I have a heat mate for my hatchling king and I can see no possible way of attaching it to the thermostat. I do not own a thermostat at this time as I was advised that I do not need one for know. Could someone please tell me how to do it please? just for future reference. im probably being a **** but its been doing my head in!

Check out the ones in this link, they plug into a wall outlet and your Under Tank Heater plugs into it. I peronally prefer the rheostats.

thanks I did wander how they worked. one other question, from the pics on those links they appear to be 2pin not 3pin plug like we have here in the uk

I'm sure that you can. Check with your local petstores or UK based online reptile supply companies.
